“EarthConnect: ARTS IN NATURE” CAMP – 6-8 AUGUST. This camp is for youth from Year 9 and up, and is for anyone who wants to be inspired by nature to explore their own creativity – no previous creative experience necessary! We have some incredible and gifted mentors joining us, and together we will explore both the amazing rainforest environment of Mt Hyland Nature Reserve and our creative selves, through creative writing, music, visual arts, movement, and craft. And of course besides that we will just have our usual Bellingen EYE amazing FUN with new friends and old.
The EarthConnect camp will be held from Friday to Sunday, 6-8 August, leaving 9:00 am Friday and returning 6:30 pm Sunday. It will be held at Mt. Hyland Wilderness Retreat (www.mt-hyland.com) , which is 1 ½ hours bus ride from Bellingen. The cost is only $145 which includes travel, lodging in comfy beds, all meals, tuition and materials. Please note that Bellingen EYE wants to make sure that everyone who wants to come can attend –so there is also a scholarship fund for those who need it.
