jEYE-venture Nature Camp
General Information
what: Enjoy being out in the bush, practice new nature awareness skills, learn what is happening to our planet, meet amazing new friends, have extreme amounts of fun.
when: Friday – Sunday, 19-21 August, 2011. Depart from the Bellingen Swimming Pool carpark at 4:00 pm Friday, arrive back at the Map (on Church St.) 6:30 pm Sunday.
where: Mt. Hyland Wilderness Retreat (www.mt-hyland.com) 1½ hours drive from Bellingen- we will be travelling by coach and mini-van.
cost: $150 for the weekend, which includes transport, lodging in comfy dorms, all meals, tuition, and materials. This cost is so low due to a subsidy by our grant from the Foundation for Young Australians. Scholarships are available – cost should not prevent anyone from participating. How To Register
- Registration opens Monday. 18 July, 2011
- On or after that date, email your name and details to info@bellingeneye.com or ring/text 0423 362 844 and leave a clear message with your name and details.
- We have room for 30 participants – our system is first in, best dressed. We will email/ring you back to let you know if you have a place, or if you are on the waiting list. If you don’t hear anything, please email or ring again!
- If you have a place, you will receive a registration form to fill out. You will need to send in the rego form and finalise payment by Monday, 8 August – or else your place may be given away.
